Long Beach Quilt Show

I spent the day at the Long Beach Quilt Show. The quilts were fabulous! The high point of the day was meeting Jamie Fingal at Make It University. She recently won the big prize at the Alliance for American Quilts competition about making new quilts from old designs with her zippered log cabin. http://archive.constantcontact.com/fs011/1101594196900/archive/1103547470165.html. Her trademark zippered quilts are wonderful.www.jamiefingaldesigns.com

Shifting Gears

Shifting Gears
Another one of the black and white doodles. It won't stay that way, I love color too much, but I did want you to see how much more complex my doodles are becoming. Stay tuned for more on this same subject.

Doodle on Colored Page

This doodle was done on a page provided by Traci Bautista. Isn't it colorful? I now need to create my own colored pages to use as backgrounds. I used Prismacolor pencils, some gel pens in purple and green and Pitt color pens. How fun! This online class continues to hold my interest.

Another Cactus Doodle

This little drawing is a cactus. I think the lower right corner shows the essence of the cactus. I have to work on those spiny, pokey spikes.
